Content Workspace

The AI-powered content creation and editing environment.

Overview

The Content Workspace is a two-panel interface where you interact with the Solstice AI to create and refine marketing content. The left panel contains an AI chat thread, and the right panel displays a live preview of your content as it is generated and edited.

Getting Started

You can enter the Content Workspace in two ways:

  • Create mode:Start from the Content Dashboard by typing a prompt in the AI chat bar (e.g., “Create an email for HCPs about efficacy data”) or by selecting a content type from the Quick Actions bar.
  • Edit mode: Open an existing asset — from your projects, library, Veeva Vault, or a prior approved piece — to edit it with AI assistance.

Workflow Phases

Content creation follows a structured, guided process:

1

Prompt & Briefing

Describe what you want to create using natural language. You can attach supporting files — clinical references, prior approved content, Veeva documents, or design assets — to provide the AI with context.

2

Guided Questions

The AI may ask clarifying questions about your target audience, key messages, tone, or specific claims to include. Answer via multiple-choice options or free text. Batch mode allows the AI to ask all questions upfront.

3

Blueprint Review

Before generating the final asset, Solstice presents a structured content plan (Blueprint) showing the proposed layout, sections, and messaging hierarchy. Review and approve the blueprint, or provide feedback to adjust it.

4

Content Generation

The AI generates the full content asset in real-time. You can watch the preview update via live streaming as the content is built.

5

Iterative Refinement

Use the chat panel or the floating feedback input to request changes. The AI produces a side-by-side comparison showing the current version alongside the proposed edit. Accept or reject changes individually.

Layers Panel

The Layers panel provides granular control over individual elements within the generated content. Select any text block, image, background, or color element to edit it directly. Layer editing is schema-driven and adapts to each content type — banners, slides, social posts, and videos each have their own layer structure.

In-Browser Editor

For precise visual control, the workspace includes a full in-browser HTML editor with:

  • Click-to-select element editing with floating text toolbar
  • Drag-and-drop element repositioning
  • Resize handles for images and elements
  • Color picker for brand color adjustments
  • Image cropper and replacement from design element gallery
  • Scene/page navigation for multi-page assets (slide decks, multi-size banners)
  • Pan and zoom controls for detailed work

Blueprint Types

Blueprints are tailored to each content format:

  • Email: Header, body sections, CTA, footer with ISI placement
  • Banner Ad: Multiple size variants with responsive layout preview
  • Slide Deck: Slide-by-slide structure with speaker notes
  • Social Video: Scene breakdown with timing and transition notes
  • Static Social: Multiple post variants for A/B testing
  • Campaign Program: Multi-asset campaign with a gallery view across all formats

Tools Menu

The workspace toolbar provides access to specialized tools:

  • Fact Check: Run an AI fact check on the current content against your reference library
  • QC Mode: Quality control review mode for final checks
  • Veeva Job Code: Inject Veeva job codes for compliance tracking
  • Variable Injection: Insert dynamic variables for personalization
  • Email Metadata: Configure subject line, preheader, and email properties
  • Reference Rejigger: Reorganize reference numbering and citations

Saving & Collaboration

Content can be saved to any project folder within your workspace. When saving, you can optionally submit the content for review, which creates a formal review request routed to your team's MLR reviewers. Version history is maintained automatically, allowing you to compare and restore previous versions at any time.
